Paper Four Ideas

During the research process for paper three, the most surprising aspect of my research was the ability that my case studies had to incorporate themselves into my paper and the way in which they supported the thesis. For paper four, because most of the work is about expansion, I will be looking to mix those ideas more thoroughly. Adding more explicit language and perhaps looking more in depth to my sources will strengthen their initial purposes, but I also wish to add more ideas to better support the thesis' depth. I would love to better understand the differences between integration and a nation's laws on naturalization for citizenship. I would also like to seek out opposition to the argument that I made in paper three, as in those who would oppose understanding and improving integration for immigrants. That was something that was mentioned when I initially had a conference on paper three and instead of making a more expanded, but still very brief explanation, I would like to dive more in depth and create a whole piece of the paper's body to discussing and rebutting.

This is one source that I will hopefully look into:

Jialing, Han. "Rapid Urbanization And The Aspiration And Challenge Of Second-Generation Urban-Rural Migrants." Chinese Education & Society 45.1 (2012): 77-83. Academic Search Premier. Web. 1 Apr. 2013.

It discusses the difficulties for second generation immigrants which could be used for defending against those who don't support helping to integrate immigrants.
